“When I originally released my debut album in the fall of 1989, Architects of Change introduced me and my music to the world, and was met with some acclaim in the U.S and countries abroad. And importantly, it led to my involvement in the world of video games and writing music for such iconic SEGA games as Sonic the Hedgehog CD, Ecco the Dolphin, Spider-Man vs. Kingpin, and Batman Returns.

Architects of Change was originally released on CD and cassette only and now it has been remastered for a limited 35th Anniversary Vinyl Edition. It features a gorgeous multi-colored disc of thick, German vinyl and brand new packaging and liner notes by renowned Berlin-based, Spanish artist, painter, and sustainable fashion designer, Laura Llonch. Five Years in the making, Here and Gone began in New Zealand in 2017 and evolved through deadly wildfires, a global pandemic and family tragedy. It's all here in the characters and their stories. There's also a lot of hope, adventure, love, and resiliency in these lush songs, punctuated by the driving rhythms, rich synthesizer textures, and soaring guitars that Nilsen’s work is know for.
